iBall has added a new tablet to its portfolio with the launch of the Slide Cuboid. The slate sports a premium aluminium body, and offers voice calling functionality via a Bluetooth headset and 4G connectivity. The tablet boots the dated Android 5.1 Lollipop, and features a multi-lingual keyboard with read and write support for 21 regional languages, as well as support for nine Indian system languages.
Coming to the other specs, the iBall Slide Cuboid sports an 8-inch (20.32cm) IPS HD display, and is equipped with Miravision technology, which offers better readability under sunlight.
Under the hood, it packs in a 1.0GHz quad-core 64-bit Cortex-A53 processor, mated to a Mali 400-MP GPU and 2GB of RAM. The storage capacity on board is 16GB, further expandable up to 32GB by inserting a microSD card.



The Slide Cuboid gets a 5MP autofocus primary snapper and a 2MP selfie shooter. Its camera app is loaded with features like Panorama, Face Beauty, Motion Track mode, Live Photo, Zero Shutter Delay, Face Detection, Smile Shot, Auto scene detection, HDR, Anti-fliker, and Self-timer etc. Apart from 4G, its other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and USB OTG. It is fuelled by a 4,500mAh battery, which can offer up to 14 hours of talk time and up to five hours of video playback.
The iBall Slide Cuboid is also pre-loaded with several apps and games like Facebook, WhatsApp, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Asphalt Nitro, Bubble Bash 3, and Motocross: Trial Extreme. It has been priced at Rs 8,999, and will be available in major retail stores across the country.
