Narsingh Yadav Doping case has been referred to Central Bureau of Investigation CBI.
Wrestling federation of India president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh had met the Prime minister recently and has asked the case to be referred to the CBI.
Court of Arbitration for Sport CAS had slapped a four year suspension on Narsingh yadav because of which he wasn't able to participate at the Rio Olympics. Remember Narsingh was exonerated by the anti doping disciplinary panel in India.
The CAS in its final order had also said that if the Indian investigation agencies ate able to prove that there was a sabotage and it is proved that his sample was tampered with, he can appeal the ban.
The development was confirmed the WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan to India Today.
