Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah - तारक मेहता - Episode 2020 - 8th September, 2016
In the September 8 episode of Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Jethalal is forced to tell the real story behind the Rs 10 crore sari and how he with the help of his friend Mehta had got a replica of the expenive sari made.
He asks Bapu ji and other men to not tell the ladies especially his wife Daya as they will be hurt that he lied to them about the sari as he couldn't have afforded the original one.
Daya and all the ladies hear him and are very proud of Jethalal for not doing anything wrong. Jethalal also gets it confirmed from Jitu Bhai, the designer, who had made the replica.
But Hira Lal, whose real Rs 10 crore sari is stolen, believes that Jethalal is the one who has stolen since the CCTV was also not working at the time of theft.
