Close to its launch date as suggested by earlier rumours, more leaks have come up regarding the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Note 2. On Chinese microblogging site Weibo, specifications of the device were spotted, along with pictures of the retail packaging and the handset itself.
According to the new leaks, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will sport a 5.7-inch QHD curved display with pressure sensing technology, which the company will be calling 3D touch. The device is expected to be launched in two variants.
While the earlier reports suggested two 13MP sensors on the back, the new rumours say that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will utilise two 16MP cameras on the back, along with an LED flash. The front-facing camera is expected to be rated at 5MP. The device will ship with Android Nougat out of the box, and run the company's own MIUI 8 on top. The battery capacity is expected to be 4,000mAh, and the Mi Note 2 will offer Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 tech, as well. Three colour variants viz. White, Black, and Pearl Powder are in tow.
