A 14-year-old boy who has been missing for a year has been rescued by Delhi Police in Jammu and Kashmir.
The boy's father, Charan Singh, had filed a missing persons complaint on August 28, 2015, when the minor went outside and never came back to his house in outer Delhi.
During the questioning the family members, it was revealed that the boy's father had a missed call on his number from an unknown person in August 2016.
The Delhi police took cognisance of the number and while following up, got a clue that the boy was seen in Kajhali village of Jammu district.
Based on this information, the police rescued the boy on September 8 from the house of Kailash, a resident of Kajhali village. Kailash took the child under his custody after informing the police station of the area because he saw the boy wandering alone in the area since 4-5 days.
The boy said that he had gone to Vaishno Devi for darshan in a bus without informing his parents in 2015 and stayed in Jammu of his own will in the fear of being beaten by his parents if he returns back to Delhi.
