Ahead of her upcoming movie 31st October, Soha Ali Khan visited the Golden Temple and a Ganpati pandal, to seek blessings. The actor took to Twitter to share the special moment with all her fans. Shockingly, her tweet was met with unexpected amounts of hate and backlash. Twitterati pointed a finger at her religion and questioned her faith.
I am all for freedom of expression, but being told how going to a temple makes me a non-Muslim is plain callous.
No one has the right to say that. Whether I choose to do namaz or go to a Church, how does it affect anyone? Nobody owns me. India being a secular nation, we have to respect all religions and each other's choices.
Soha totally shushed everyone who trolled her with this powerful statement!
