At the police station, Bapu ji, Bhide, Popatlal and Aiyer file a complaint regarding the Rs 10 crore sari having been stolen from Jetha and Mehta. Inspector Chalu Pandey is confused since Hiralal has already filed a complaint about the theft.
They then scan the CCTV footage of the exhibition where they discover that Jethalal was taking pictures of the Rs 10 cr sari. Hiralal tells the inspector that Jethalal had wanted to borrow the sari for his wife Daya but he had refused since it is a very expensive sari. So they come to the conclusion that Jethalal has stolen the sari.
At Gokuldham society, Jethalal and Mehta regain consciousness and are then informed that how Bapu ji and rest of the male members have gone to file a police complaint regarding the missing Rs 10 crore sari. After which Jethalal and Mehta get worried and come to know that police officials have come to summon them to the police station.
